Why I Started This Site

I have been in many discussions on EVs for work and I hear politicians and corporate leaders talk about how important the transition to EVs is for sustainability. I believe that sentiment but I have found that most people talking about EVs, don’t actually drive one!

What really drove me to take this step was a recent interaction with a new EV owner. At a charging station in Chicago, a family from Michigan, that had only had their car for 2 weeks, started asking me for some advice. The family was frustrated. There was a lot they didn’t know. I would say it’s bold for any EV owner to embark a road trip just 2 weeks into their EV journey but there were some basics that really could’ve helped them. I helped them map their trip home. They made me realize that there are a lot of details that are not openly shared about EV limitations but are critical for people to understand when you talk about large scale EV adoption.

I have used pretty much every app out there and chargers from all different vendors. I have spent A LOT of time researching, learning, and actually testing the wonderful world of EVs and I want to share that knowledge.

Take my advice and you too can soon enjoy tailgating out of your frunk!
